What Is Agniveervayu Under Agnipath Scheme?

Age Limit
- Date of Birth: Between 01 January 2006 and 01 July 2009 (inclusive)
- Maximum Age at Enrolment: 21 years
Marital Status
- Only unmarried candidates are eligible
- Marriage during the four-year engagement leads to discharge
- Female candidates must not be pregnant during service
Educational Qualification
Science Subjects
Candidates must have:
- 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics & English (50% aggregate & 50% in English), OR
- 3-year Engineering Diploma, OR
- 2-year Vocational Course with Physics & Mathematics
Other Than Science Subjects
- 10+2 in any stream with 50% marks overall and in English
- 2-year vocational course with required marks
