Educational Qualification & Eligibility
Candidates must meet any one of the following criteria:
- B.Tech in Mechanical / Aerospace Engineering
- Post Graduate degree in a relevant discipline
- Graduate degree + 3 years of experience in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
Required Technical Skills
- Hands-on experience in UAV or aerospace structural design
- Knowledge of composite materials, CNC machining, and mold design
- Familiarity with CFD tools and multi-disciplinary optimization
- Proficiency in CAD software: SolidWorks, CATIA, Fusion 360, or CREO
- Understanding of FEA, aerostructures, composites & manufacturing processes
- Ability to interpret and prepare engineering drawings and GD&T
Key Job Responsibilities
The Project Associate will be responsible for:
- Creating 3D CAD models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings for UAV and mechanical systems
- Performing structural simulations (FEA), weight optimization & tolerance analysis
- Working with fabrication teams for prototype development, mold creation, and composite manufacturing
- Preparing BOM (Bill of Materials), documentation, and revision updates
- Coordinating design iterations based on aerodynamics and performance feedback
- Collaborating with electronics, propulsion & flight-testing teams for system integration
- Supporting troubleshooting and design improvements during testing
Salary / Stipend
- Consolidated monthly salary: ₹21,600 – ₹1,800 – ₹54,000
